Giovanni Polimeni joined BESIX Watpac in 2006 and was appointed as General Manager for NSW in 2023. Having led the NSW business from an operational perspective in his previous role of Operations Manager, Giovanni has a firmly established understanding of our clients and the NSW region. Throughout his 18 year tenure with the company, he has managed the delivery of numerous high-profile, award-winning, large-scale and highly complex projects including Poly Centre, Sydney Metro Barangaroo Station, York & George and others across a variety of sectors including defence.
Giovanni’s operational expertise is complemented by his proactive and collaborative leadership style, and he has an unwavering commitment to safety and quality. Giovanni has a Bachelor of Building, Construction Management, and a Diploma in Structural Engineering.
